What You'll Experience

This residency brings together all previous modules through real-world practice, professional evaluation and final certification.

Stage 1 — Professional Consulting Standards

Format: Live Online Session

Duration: Approx. 3 Hours

You'll begin by learning how the certification process works and what is expected at professional level.

Topics include:

• The complete consulting workflow

• Preparing for the first client meeting

• What information should be collected before an analysis?

• Asking the right questions

• Managing client expectations

• Structuring a professional consultation

• Report writing standards

• Presenting recommendations clearly

• Professional ethics and responsibilities

• Common mistakes made by new consultants

• Assessment criteria

You'll also receive:

• Professional report template

• Client questionnaire

• Site inspection checklist

• Project timeline

• Assessment guide

By the end of this session, you'll understand not only what to analyse, but how to work professionally with clients. Pluswhat is expected from you throughout the program.

Stage 2 — Independent Field Practice

Duration: 6 Weeks

You'll complete a minimum of three real projects independently.

For example:

• Residential project

• Office or commercial project

• One project of your choice

For each project, you'll complete:

• Orientation measurement

• Floor plan analysis

• Form School analysis

• Flying Stars analysis

• 4D Feng Shui® assessment

• Strategic recommendations

• Professional report

This stage is designed to simulate real consulting practice as closely as possible.

Office Hours

Every two weeks, participants may join a 90-minute online Office Hour.

These sessions are optional and designed to support you while maintaining independent thinking.

You may use them to:

• Ask project-related questions

• Clarify technical issues

• Discuss analytical challenges

• Receive guidance without being given the solution

The goal is to help you build professional judgement—not dependency.

Stage 3 — Professional Report Review

Your three submitted reports will be assessed according to:

• Technical accuracy

• Analytical reasoning

• Practical recommendations

• Report structure

• Professional writing

• Clarity of communication

This is where your ability to translate technical knowledge into professional output is tested.

Stage 4 — Master Studio

Duration: 2 Full Days · In Person

Day 1 — Real Project Assessment

You'll work on a real project such as a villa, office, hotel or commercial space.

You'll:

• Measure

• Observe

• Photograph

• Analyse

• Take field notes

• Prepare a complete assessment

Day 2 — Final Presentation & Jury Review

Each participant presents the same project of day 1 and their recommendations before the jury.

You'll be assessed not only on technical knowledge, but also on:

• Professional judgement

• Problem-solving

• Communication

• Ethical approach

• Clarity of presentation

• Ability to think like a consultant

This is the final step before certification.

Assessment

Your final result is based on:

• Three Professional Reports — 40%

• Final Presentation & Jury Review — 40%

• Professional Approach & Ethics — 20%

• Conduct a complete Feng Shui consultation independently.

• Apply the full 4D Feng Shui® methodology to real projects.

• Present and defend your work before a professional review panel.

• Meet the practical requirements for IFSA certification.

  Participants who successfully complete all stages of assessment will be awarded:

  IFSA Certified 4D Feng Shui Consultant

  Participants who complete the last program, Module 4, but do not meet the certification requirements will receive a:

  Certificate of Completion of Module 4 issued by KaYun Institute.
